Sho Tai has been used by some Asian cultures for many centuries to perform physical, structural and nutritional analysis of the human body. Sho Tai is a simple, safe, natural method of analyzing the body's structural, physical and nutritional needs. A deficiency in any of these areas can cause or contribute to various acute or chronic health problems.
Sho Tai is also a marvelous preventive technique, used to find a problem before it becomes a full blown health issue. Find it early... and correct it!
How Does it Work?
Modern Sho Tai practitioners work with a knowledge of acupressure and acupuncture energy meridians and with the nerve centres of the human body, known as reflex areas.
The practitioner facilitates communication with the body by using Innate Wisdom and neuro muscular biofeedback. When the indicator muscle stays strong while touching the appropriate reflex, nerve energy is flowing without problems. If that indicator muscle tests weak, this shows there is too much electrical energy in the reflex, and is referred to as a 'hot reflex'. This allows the practitioner to analyze the imbalance in the physical, structural, mechanical and nutritional needs of the client.
